An independent view of the Western Australian property market.
Landgate’s Residential Value Watch reports provide an analysis of the Western Australian property market. These reports are regarded as the most reliable, accurate and independent indicator of movements in value in the real estate market. They are based on actual valuations reviewed by the Valuer General.
Residential Value Watch Reports:
- Are based on the same actual property and its value each time so that a consistent comparison can be made over time.
- Are updated annually.
- Property value is calculated at the annual valuation and reviewed at six month intervals and based on actual sales and rental evidence.
- Include all past valuations disclosing historic trends dating back to 1988 (or from when a suburb or town data was introduced).
Residential value watch should not be confused or compared with statistics derived from analysed, aggregated sales data which is popular with media analysis of the property market.
Choose either a report covering a single suburb or town, or a summary report covering all Western Australian suburbs and towns.
